Hi, how are you

How's the DAOC life for those that are left?  I see a lot of the same old faces still around... only I've been left in the dust by 40 million RPs or so, hah.  Oh well, maybe I'll tinker around with it again some day while still waiting to give WAR a try.  (Mythic: credit me a free week imo).

Yes, I still have all my accounts.  No, I'm not coming back to DAOC anytime soon, if ever.  Still playing WOW some and wasting away time with the newly released Command & Conquer 3.  Now's your chance to come kill me in an RTS where I suck (and only play one computer!).

I had always been against the idea of this, but I now realize I won't be back for any length of time.  It's been a great 5 years, and I'll always be around -- just the DAOC chapter is probably closed.  The VN DAOC Goodbye post. (edit: April 2007)

Where am I now?

It's amazing the traffic this website still gets (70-80gb\month).  Thus, a couple times a day I get an IM asking if I still play DAOC.  The answer is, no, at this time, most of my accounts are indeed cancelled as of my 5th year anniversary with the game.  Reasons for this are many -- mainly real life of course -- but also the fact that I feel as though I reached the pinnacle of achievement in the game.  What more is there for me to do that isn't just a ridiculous feat?

I've played WOW since it's release (in the SINGLE toon aspect of the game, just like I started with DAOC).  Upon reaching the end game, and getting completely comfortable with it, I branched out and opened up a few more accounts.  I'm now toying with a few '5 man' teams on Hellscream (Alliance) in a guild with a few other old DAOC friends.  Come by and say hi if you like.  My priest's name is Scyros.

So, while I will leave the door open for my return to DAOC some day, I wouldn't count on it happening too soon.  Oh, and see you in Warhammer.

Welcome Internals Visitors!

How flattering to be whined about even though I haven't been able to play in months!  Anyhow, the "animist guy" on the RP Cluster is *not* me.  The only toons that are mine are on my monkey.  If they aren't on the monkey, they aren't me.  I've never finished fully leveled an animist team, and almost certainly never will (made it to 40 or so).

Besides, I like a challenge!  So I use Wizards, the most gimp of the casters!

Btw, Red Names, 1.82 is looking good! ;D

Taking a break while moving IRL ...

Currently on a slight break from Dark Age of Camelot.  I'm moving between houses at the moment, so all the team's computers are in storage!  Be back in March or early April. :)

In other news - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Bainshees finally have fall off added, and Warlock chamber dumps have been nerfed, although only slightly. :( ... It's a start!  Now, where is the Wizard love!

Sure, it's not that good. The quality is subpar, the music is cheesy as always, but hey, here ya go. The effects aren't as cool as HoA or FUN... The fights aren't as cool as well, most any video... but I just got tired of looking at Studio and realized I'd rather be in game killing then working on another video - so this is the best I could do.

VN Updates after a few nights returning to Albion

Well after a couple months in Hibernia messing around on the bainshees, the release of Darkness Rising called me back to my home realm of Albion.  It only took a couple nights of regular RVR for the VNBoards to return to their former glory of TW whine posts. Know what that means? New quotes!

I'm going to try to make the site a little less stressful on the eyes.  Also, I've been going through my screenshots and plan on adding a ton of new ones to that section.  Lastly, I'm proud to announce I've finally started running Fraps again and thus New Frontiers Episode 3 work has actually begun and should be out within the next month!
